PolitickerMA.com reports that today the Massachusetts House will take up debate on whether to repeal the 1913 law that prevents out-of-state same-sex couples from marrying in the Bay State. The Senate has already voted to repeal the law, and Governor Patrick has said that if the House agrees, he’ll sign the bill. The legislative session ends Thursday, so time is short. I’m cautiously optimistic that the House will do the right thing and repeal the law.
