In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Sarah Palin has announced her support for a federal constitutional ban on marriage equality in the United States.
She did so with her usual eloquence, saying she was
… speaking up for traditional marriage that, that instrument that it’s the foundation of our society is that strong family and that’s based on that traditional definition of marriage, so I do support that.
What a minute didn’t she say that she believe that gays should have constitutional rights during her debate with Biden?
Silly Heavenly, she didn’t mean the same constitutional rights she and other god-fearing chosen ones have. She meant more like the right to live (as opposed to being stoned) in shame and self-loathing.
It boggles my mind that no one is SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS:
“It is NOT acceptable to have a fundamental right UP FOR A VOTE.”
“It is NOT acceptable to have FUNDRAISERS to either PURCHASE a civil right OR to EXCLUDE American families FROM a civil right.”
“Children are hurt by Marriage Inequality.”
(the Christian Right thinks their children will be “traumatized” when faced with the REALITY of the existence of LGBT families; they have no idea what cruel traumas their family COULD experience if they lacked the rights & protections of civil marriage).
Oh yeah, and also “No Taxation Will Happen UNTIL Representation”.
